The Pacific Cedar grows exclusively in the high mountains of pacific regions. The main trunk of the tree is harvested for furniture while the base or stump and the root are left in the ground for a year or more to cure. After curing, the stump and roots are dug up and ready to be carved. These wonderful hand sculpted art pieces are very special, each being one-of-a-kind and hand-crafted into tables, stands, stools, baskets, serving platters and vases for the enjoyment of those around us. Each piece is hand sculpted and shaped to elaborate the wood's unique natural growth rings and markings that are sure to make a stunning visual statement.
